ARP bolt torque with 30w oil???

Default ARP bolt torque with 30w oil???

What is the torque with 30 w OIL for ARP bolts? Crap i got ARP thread sealer not assebly lube.

It is like 90ft -lbs, but i wouldnt do it.

I was using oil while i was torqing my head bolts down, using their torque specs, and one broke. Had to pull the head back off and get the broken piece out, send it to them, then wait for them to send me a new bolt.

I used formagasket the next time.

That if you look at the tube, you will see that it may have the lube in the sealer.
The tube I have, is marked pt# 100-9904.

I believe it's 75 lb/ft with moly lube and 95 lb/ft with 30 wt oil.

I'm looking at the box my 12 pt studs came in and the additional torque with 30 wt oil is from 26% to 28% more than the moly lube spec.

The tube i have also says 100-9904 am i good to go? It says in the instructions in the back that it can be used for head bolts

Here are the correct torque specs for 30w oil for ARP bolts. I Called them and got the info from them. Big bolts 10 of them 28ftlbs 56ftlbs 85ftlbs. Small bolts 9,18,29Ftlbs

That's weird. I just put a set in and my instructions stated 65 for the molly lube and 70 with 30 weight. Go figure.

I dont know man. I just got threw talking with ARP tech line and gave me this info. For part number i think 134-3609

I used motor oil on my ARP studs and torqued to 75ft lbs. No problems.
