Default Anyone running the new Yella Terras?

I'm thinking about getting a set and wonder if anyone has any comments about them.

BTW, search didn't bring up much.

No, but they look pretty good. Hopefully the new design will take care of the valve float that the older ones had.

I read about that. I thought valve float was caused by too weak a spring? Anyway, I think I'll order a set and see if it quiets my valve train. That's basically what I'm wanting to do. If I pick-up a HP or two, all the better.

How does the rocker create valve float? Ive never experieced any float with my YT 1.7s. Ive always ran a good spring though.

I had the orginal YT rockers with 977 springs 232/238 XER and ran into valve float over 6500.

Someone on LS1GTO has a set installed, you might try a search there and see how they worked out. I think he got one of the first sets.

Phil, do you have any idea what would cause this? To much weight over the nose? Anyway, my rev limiter is set at 6500 so it shouldn't be a problem.

Those new YT's look pretty light compared to the older design. I've been running the originals on my TR224 w 918s and now Patriot Golds with no signs of valvefloat.
