Default what cam?

I want to buy a cam kit for my Camaro. I just bought a 2001 SS M6 to replace my 1999 SS M6. Rapid Motorsports has a 224/228 .578 lift cam that made 409rwhp on a 2001 camaro with stock heads. My goal is to make 400+ rwhp on my car. I have SLP longtubes, catted y, and loudmouth. I also have a lid and K&N. I'm having trouble finding anyone who offers a cam swap kit. Am I missing something? I want the cam, valve springs, retainers and pushrods all in one package that is matched to work with each other. Also, i'm new at cam swaps...is that an aggressive cam or could I get even more. Thanks for the help.

You need to call Texas Speed and have them set you up a package for what you are wanting. All of the guys down there are awesome to talk to and don't care to help you out. I just went with the Magic Stick v3 cam, and the PRC Ls6 cnc ported heads (and other necessary boltons) from them and it makes well over 400 rwhp. I don't have any dyno number to post yet, but I can tell you that I raced a buddy of mine and beat him worse than with my stock motor + 150 NX. I've also heard the Torquer 2 cam makes a lot of power also. I think PredatorZ runs that cam. You might shoot him a pm or hope he chimes in.

TSP, Thunder, and LS1Speed and other sponsors offer complete packages and will ensure you get the correct springs, etc for your needs.

I'm going with the TSP 233/239 cam package. They were very helpful. I should have me setup in shortly. 400+ rwhp should be sweet!

Lots of peopl on here run them. Search for them and you will most likely yeild some results about it.

Quiet down on the MS3 stuff. He doesnt even have all the bolt ons to support that type of anger yet. Allthough the XE-R lobed 233/239 is also a good choice if you end up with the TSP package.

What is the translation into English?
Appears to be your signature...You know that you don't have to type that out everytime if you make one in the USER CP.

Isn't the magic stick a rather aggressive cam? I'm not sure that it will have the drivability that I want to maintain. Is this cam a good choice for a street car, or is it more for a race application?
