Default pick a cam for me!!!!!

Well I'm in the market for a cam and have done a bunch of research on here in the past week or so but I'm still not sure what to get.

I want a nice lope to it (one that lets people know its not stock but not too harsh or abnoxious for a daily driver).

I plan on getting either a 3000 stall or a 3200 stall and also 3.73 gears. I'm getting the stall and gears installed at the same time before the cam goes in because I've been told that the converter goes in before the cam.

What do you guys recommend for a daily driver 98 A4 with 3.73 gears and a 3000 stall?

I did find a comp cam 218/224 527/534 114lsa
How would this cam be for my application? would it have a nice lope to it?

Keep in mind it must be daily driver friendly and I also don't want to have to worry about changing valve springs every 30k miles or so because of the hard springs I had to install because of a big cam... nor do I want to have a bunch of tuning needed. what cam do you guys recommend for my car? any suggestions will help. thanks

I had a 224/230 .581/.592 on a 114LSA and a 3200 stall and the car was as drivable as when it came of the showroom floor after a tune. I would recomend a cam like this or simialar and If you are interested mine is for sale (im going with a full out race motor) PM if you are interested.

EDIT: With AFR 205cc heads this cam and bolt ons I made 428 RWHP though a TH-400 tranny.

If you want lope go with something with an LSA of 112 or smaller. You will pretty much want to tune any cam you get in order to get the most out of it. Just about any cam can be made drivable you just have to tune it. If you want lots of low end power go with something like the 224/224 or something in that range. If you want more medium range power, something in the high 220's/230's will do it for you. If you want to wait for your power to come get something like the MS3, f14, g5x4, or something in that range. If you go onto thunder racing under thier engine/valvetrain, they list all thier cams and where the power curve is. You could also just call one of the sponsors like TSP, Thunder racing, Comp cams, or any of these places and they will tell you wants good for your application. Good luck!!

I'm looking at duplicating this setup HERE.
Matter of fact, I just bought the FAST 90/NW90 yesterday to get myself closer to that build.
I'd like the H/C now but "my wallet says otherwise"
I say that cam/setup sounds like what your referring to, with regards to drivability and cam size anyway.
