Default oil pressure sensor tap

I just put an ls6 manifold on my 2000 T/A and I broke didnt hookup or something on my oil pressure sensor and I was wonedering where is another place for me to tap in for now im going to put heads and cam in the future and i will fix it then but i dont want to pull the manifold back off now. So i was wondering where i can tap in for a Aftermaket gauge?

Just above the Oil filter is an adaptor that you can remove, drill and then tap for a sensor or line to mech guage.

So you are trying to say it's easier to drill and tap the engine for another sensor than it is to spend 20 minutes taking the manifold off.

yeah, I'd rather pull of the intake manifold again. I'm going to hook up an aftermarket guage and Im thinkin gof putting a T where the stock one goes. I feel that the port above the oil filter is just too close if you have headers.

Taking the manifold off isn't really that bad. I mean it's probably a 20-30 minutes job.

The whole taping the motor bit would seem to make the baby Jesus cry. What deep dark demonic thing happened when you took it off the first time? Besides braking off the sensor? All fun aside, I knew better but got in a hurry last time I took the manifold off and broke that sucker too. Weird how thin the plastic is right at the base of that thing-It's almost like some jack *** engineer designed it like a sick joke to **** off mechs

I am putting in three guages, Water, oil press, and transmission temp. I need to figure out what are the best places to put the sensors. I am going to do this when I pull my motor and put it all back together. Any suggestions whould help.
