I would check with SDPC or Thunder. All the sponsors to the right are a good choice to pick up one. I think that you will be just fine with the LS6 pump. Your not looking for 550+ rwhp are you? That would determine what route you should take between the 2. What is the year of your car?

TSP has the ls6 for like $96 and the ported ls6 for $120. I went ahead and got the ported. Its prolly worth the extra 20 bucks.

That is why I did it anyway. 3 years ago it was $149...

you should upgrade your oil pump, either the ls6 or the ported ls6 would work. If you go with the slp theres some fitment issues that you would have to deal with.

SLP is proving to be good for nothing...Even the lid appears to not fit right on most cars. Go with TSP for sure if you can get one for under $130 shipped. That is a decent price for a decent piece.

Futral sells ported LS6 pumps as well, I picked one up from them when I bought my cam package.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but before you button up your engine I would call Futral and make sure you didn't get one of their "BAD" cams. Just trying to save you some major grief in the future. Other than that it is a great performing cam and I loved mine until I heard the news, will probably replace with same exact cam.
