Default What springs w/ TR224

It's a TR224 .562 .562 114 LSA. Just need to know the best springs to use with it. Any other supported mods I should have? I have an '02 SS w/ a lid.

The Comp 918's are great, but there are some outstanding prices on the most of the dual spring kits (Patriot, PRC) if you want to spend a little more to get more spring. Although both dual kits also come with the Titanium retainers (Patriot Golds come with the Super 7 locks).

Heck dual springs could be overkill but I prefer overkill... Visit the sponsors and shop around for great prices!

Don't forget some hardened pushrods while you are at it!

www.texas-speed.com carries nicely put-together kits.

918s will be fine, check out the sponsors most have prices listed right on the website. the 921s are the next best thing but cost a bit more(not neccessary for your app.)

If your interested, I have a set of 918's (blue stripe) and comp titanium retiners with less than 2000 miles on them if your interested. Just pm me.

I bought new heads not long after the cam went in.

Will the stock springs in the 243 heads do fine with this TR224 cam? I think these are the heads with the sodium filled valves..
