Default Unmilled Dart 205s (62cc) + .040" Cometic = ??.? Compression

Thread title is pretty self-explanatory. I'm thinking of getting a set of Dart 205s which have a 62cc runner and a .040" Cometic gasket to put on my Z06 to have a head setup that works better with my small cam (224/228 581/588 114+2). Someone suggested the .040 gasket. Is that optimal for my setup? What would my final static compression be?

With an .040" gasket and -.008" deck height you will be up around 11.38:1 static. DCR will be around 8.77:1. Should be sweet.

I went with the same set up (heads and gaskets) plus the 90/90 set up and the X3 cam. What time frame have you been told about the heads?

Summit has the 205 in stock, but the 225 are on back order till around mid may. Depending on where you ordered them from and when. Id say thats when you would need to wait till.

Waterbug,
I'm going to be really interested in seeing what you put down with your heads and Fast setup. A good friend of mine who owns a high performance cylinder head shop and has done numerous BBC Dart heads for me told me to go 225's out of the box. I wanted those CNC'd Darts From TSP but I'm going to see how these work out.
