Default PRC Stage 1 LS6 Flow Bench and CNC Valve Job Videos!!

I had some time after work and made some videos of a Stage 1 LS6 head w/ competition valve job on the Flow Bench and Newen CNC valve job machine cutting the valve seats in a head. I thought some of you guys would like to see some of the processes the heads go through before they are finally inspected, boxed up and shipped out. The heads in the video are the Stage 1 LS6 for $999, they are sold completely assembled with stock springs. You can upgrade to the PRC dual spring kit for an additional $250.

Everyone needs to keep in mind that with the combination of the CNC valve job, CNC porting & CNC blending we've created cylinder heads that offer consitent performance everytime. Effective immediately, all cylinder heads leaving the shop will now feature this CNC valve job technology that will ensure every cylinder head flows exactly the same as the original prototype head! This machine will take valve job technology to the next level. Very few head companies use this type of technology; they're stuck with old-school technology that must be hand-blended & may or may not have tons of run out! This process is very time efficient, and back-orders do not extend further that two to three days currently!

Thumbs up

Nice work guys....just a few short questions... is the price being changed to 999 or is it still as listed on the site 899? Or does the 899 head not come with this competition valvejob? Ive been very happy with the performance of the 899 version.

The standard head with stock valve job is still 899.99. It still does very well. The cnc valve job upgrade raises the price $100, but honetly it's probably worth its wait in gold. The cnc valve job also lets us sink the valves a little bit for better p/v or gives us room for a little bit of decking

What is the finished chamber size, runner volume and if I missed it what was the bore size for the flow numbers on the video?

The 999 price is the LS6 stage 1 head w/ competition valve job. The 899 set is the Stage 1 LS6 head with stock valve job. Have you gotten any numbers or track times with the 899 version, I'm glad you like them, let us know how they do!!

They are stock LS6 valves with the competition valve job. With using the stock valves we are able to keep the cost down on the heads which spills over into better pricing for the customer which is what you guys are seeing.

Guess we answered the question at the same time.
BTW stock valves are fine, they work well and of course are cheep.
Going to a aftermarket valve wouldn't help much but would be much more expensive.
