This is my first h/c car so I'm not sure if the noise I'm hearing now is normal or not. I got the correct pushrods, they measured out at 7.450 to give me a .060" preload on my lifters. But I still have a tick noise. It's not the tick noise that you get from too short of a pushrod, it's a little deeper. The heads are Patriot LS6 style 59cc combustion chamber with a Patriot 226 cam. I'm not getting any knock retard so I know it isn't that. If it was a stock engine I would be going after a lifter but the noise is through out the whole valvetrain. If anyone can offer any advise or has this setup can give me a sound clip of what your vehicle sounds like I would apprecciate it.

can you try and single out where exacly its coming from like the lifter?
