Default What do you all think of my setup?

Alright, buying parts for my project car...LS1 into an 88 RX-7

And engine wise, this is what I already picked up...

MTI Stage 2 ported heads: Ferrea 2.08/1.60 valves, Ferrea titanium retainers, larger diameter Isky dual springs, and milled a total of 50 thousands to make the combustion chamber roughly 57cc's

Then that will be combining with an MTI G1 cam, with the specs of: 228/232 .588/.575 +4 on a 115LSA

Oh and 7.400 MTI Hardened pushrods

I also have an LS6 intake manifold incase I don't get an 01+ LS1

I'm aiming for 400+ rwhp through a t-56, I think I'm set. What do you guys think??

It should, but are the pistons gonna be too long?

EDIT: *Looks up*...I mean pushrods, I'm sorry...I'm tired.

sound like a nice set up for that light of a car.

a customer of mine is selling his stock engine if your still looking for a short block. cyl. walls look perfect, never burned any oil or overheated or anything like that. he bought a forged short block w/lower compression so we can turn up the boost for his car. I can have it the rest of the way apart and crated up in a matter of days. email me if you would like any other info. Im not positive how much he wants for it. oh yeah, its around 60K, but like I said no ring ridge and still visible crosshatch and he's always used synthetic since he bought it.

Just collecting parts and stuff now. Motor and trans are still a bit down the line, thank you though.
