Default Is it my cam or my tune??OR WHAT??

I resently installed a 224/224 567/567 114lsa cam And stageII ls6 heads.
My best before the install was 12.5 109mph 1.78 60ft. My new best is 12.0 113mph 1.85 60ft. Are these times right or is something wrong, I thought this combo would put me in the mid 11's

Well...I was gonna say you needed sticky tires but you have M/T DR. I dont know why your 60ft. would drop almost a tenth of a second. Could it be you just had a bad launch? The powr is definately there because your trap speed is up there. Im intrigued though...

Yes the car was tuned, And the reason for the 60ft drop was a stall change,(tci3500 to yank3200) I know i have to restall the convertor,But my buddy with the same setup mod for mod, Could only pull a 11.9 with his tci3500 1.69ft. I just thought we would do a lot better.

you gained 4 mph and dropped a half second. if you got the same 60' youll be 11s for sure.

Well i would think you could pull those times with out the heads. Have seen it before. You would get alot more from those heads with a larger cam. Most of the Killer A4's at the track that are running 10's and 11's have one thing in common..4000+stalls. I would guess it to be your mods are not working well together. They just are not complementing one another,,

ahh...missed the part aout the heads. your car should be 60'ing better than that. my best was 1.69 with stock suspension and a Midwest 3500 stall...224 cam, tea heads, headers, etc.
