Default Rocker bolts in intake runner ???

I just installed a set of AFR 225's on my 402 and after installing the Y.T. rockers was shocked to see the rocker bolts hanging into the intake runner! What gives here? This can't be right. What am I doing wrong? Do they use a stud on AFR's? Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

No worries. That is perfectly normal on ported heads.

That's normal. Use a dab of blue loctite to seal the holes and prevent leaks.

I used permatex #2 on the bolt threads and blue loctite under the bolt head, fwiw.
