Default Please help me achieve my 750 rwhp goal

Hi guys,
I recently crashed one of my Vettes so my plan is a bit delayed. Howver I would like to get some advise from you.
I have a 99 Vette with a P1SC A&A Kit (single intercooler), Kooks headers, BB Bullets exhaust, RPM level 5 tranny (2800 TC), 42 lbs injectors
I would like to be somewhere between 700 and 750 RWHP.
To get there, I will buy a D1SC head unit, higher flowing injectors. But I would like to reuse my intercooler to save some money. I might also need a better fuel system since right now I only have a LPE pump. The ECS fuel system is $2000 I think.
That alone should cost me about 3000 dollars ($5000 with the fuel system)

Now I will also need a forged shortblock and new heads. I will need you here guys.
I would like to have a reliable daily driver so I am looking for a good forged block. What do you guys advise me (What engine, what shop would you recommend me)
I recently crashed my second Vette (wasnt my fault) which I will have to rebuild so I will spend a lot of money there. Some shops gave me quotes of about $6700 for just a forged short block.
Where do you guys advise me to go for a reliable and more affordable shortblock and which one would you advise me to go with.
How much do I gave to be ready to spend (shortblock + heads + D1SC head unit and so on). Total cost of my project?

Please guys, help a newbie Keep up the great work guys, you forum is great

sponsors --->

TSP, Wheel 2 Wheel, Vinci, etc...call around to our sponsors and see what they can do. I know TSP has 402 shortblocks for around $4000.

Hi Magius231,
Thanks, I know about the sponsors. It is just that I do not want to bother them until I am completly ready. I hope you understand. I try to get as much info from you guys and as soon as I am ready to go, I will contact these vendors. At least I will have some information from your experience.
Thanks in advance

402ci block, a cam you can shave with some f@ck off heads, big blower, bolt ons, meth kit, fuel system upgrade and a tune.

Oh yeah and a large sack of cash.

WoW that is high for a shortblock! Check out TSP, SDPC, etc for good prices on forged shortblocks. I'm likely buying a longblock from TSP. I would definitely go with the iron block. It's about 80lbs heavier, but stronger and a couple hundred cheaper than the aluminum block.

If you want to make 750 rwhp very reliably, check out World Products LS7x block and heads. It will take you awhile to get your hands on it, and it will be more expensive... but totally worth it IMO. Plus you wouldn't have to run high psi to do it.

I wish I was strapped like you! haha

You are gonna hate me if I tell you where I am from lol
Ok, I tell you anyway, unfortunatly I live in France (but I am Polish, just live there because I need too, Poland is too poor. I would love to move to America but it is really hard to get a visa or a green card )
Thanks guys, I appreciate your help
