Did the car just stop running on the street, or, was the car left, you returned and then tried to start it?

left you a pm

The car was parked, not moving... I tried to start it and it just went "click" ... and nothing else.... Did that a few times and then fired right up.... Didn't need to Jump it... I agree with you all.. I think it's the starter...

It has done this a couple of times in the past two weeks, but nothing like today... It would go "click, turn over and start up" ... I should've looked into it right there and then!!

Question: If the starter went completely bad and didn't start at all tomorrow, would a Jump Start fire it up ??

Justin : PM'd ya back bro... Thanks ALOT for the offer!!

check your terminal connections first before you go replacing everything. make sure there's no corrosion or bad connection. That would also cause the symptoms you describe.

Check for corroded or badly connected terminals. When you turn the ignition to start, do all your guages/radio basically die too? If so, probably the previous or battery, if not then it could be the solenoid on the starter.

Checked the terminals, they look great!.. no corrosion or looseness...

The idiot lights on ODO, door chimes, headlights, radio etc.. all work great.. no problems with any of that... no SES light is on either..

01350SS has also been helping me out and it seems that it's either the harness, or a dead spot in the starter... I'll check the harness tomorrow and also the starter... hopefully it'll be an easy fix!!
