Default Building a motor!!

I have a 1983 Silverado Project truck i have started!!

The motor and Trans are coming out tommorow.

It has a 350 sbc... and a 700-r4...

We are going to put a weiand blower on it, and i want themotor to be able to hold around 20+ psi....

I was thinking an Eagle Rotating assembly...

But just wanted everyones opinoin before I purchase!!

Also Im not set on the weiand... If there is other producers with the same price range, I would be happy to look at those as well!!!

Thanks in advance!!!

I personally do not prefer Eagle stuff myself, allthough that comes from experience witrh their cast cranks. Most if not ALL of their stuff is cast in China, and manufactured to less than stringent specs (at least from what we have seen with their cast counterparts). If you are trying to do this on a budget but want good parts I would check out the Lunati "Sledgehammer" cranks (about $775.00) and some of their rods (I am assuming this is for an old style small block).

Do you want a complete short block/long block or just the rotating assembly?

Theres a small and big block forum about half way down....you might have better luck in there.. P.S I'd ditch the 700 for a 400.... ans Weiand blowers are show car blowers....
