Hollow stems make for a lot lighter valvetrain, so unless you go titanium, I'd stick with what you got.

By the way, are the ones you got sodium-filled??? If so, KEEP THEM. They dissipate heat like crazy.

What do you have planned for the rest of the engine? Turbo? Nitrous?

Bigger valves means better flow (generally). LSx heads can flow 300cfm on a 2.00" valve, but bigger valves makes for a larger venturii which allows more airflow. Nitrous and Forced Induction engines usually like a bigger exhaust valve too, going over the average hot rodders 75% intake-exhaust ratio rule. Sometimes more exotic materials are necessary such as Titanium or Inconel.

As for brand, I have heard by some good names that Ferrea is the preferred brand, but REV isn't really that far behind if at all. If you are considering maybe Titanium valves, call Del West. Victory makes some nice Titanium valves as well.
