first off i got a 98 z28 w/ about 109,000 miles..
just today my oil gauge drops to zero. it only happens during accelerating (1-10mph) when im sitting there ideling or when im over 10mphs its fine. im thinking the oil pump needs to be replaced but i could be wrong.. any ideas?

oil pump failure will happen worse at higher rpm,it turns with the rpm of motor it wont fail like that.does it drop only during hard acceleration or anytime
