Default 6.0 and .040 over

Any problems boring a 6.0 block .040 over? and is there any need to hard block a 6.0 block like they do in old school SB's for strength ?

You'll need to find a block that passed a sonic test. But why? a .030 overbore is plenty and still leaves room for a hone later for a rebuilt.

I found a block that is already .030 and needs to go another .010 to clean up.
