CAL SMOG and CI 347,370, 383, 402, 408?
Being that Im in California I need to be smog legal with a new engine I buy...what are the biggest cubes stroked or not that I can get away with in a 2000 WS6? I see a lot of sweet 408 deals, but I dunno if that would fly here or not.

You are fairly close to http://synergymotorsports.net/ in Fremont.
I would drop off the car and have them do the entire thing and do it right.
Rick hand builds every motor and spends about 15 extra hours on each one.
Almost every car in the shop is a stroker, most with big, I mean big and mean power adders.

Rick can explain it to you over the telephone the extra lengths to which he goes. He only does in house installs, not an internet turn and burn. I do not think he charges for all the extra time, but it is well worth it to have a hand built setup. My 427 has not burned a drop of oil since he rebuilt it. Many others can testify to same fact.
You are right, you cannot change character. Rick is really a honorable guy, who just happens to have a lot of talent and I trust him with my life everytime I get into my car and hit 120-200. I think you find many others that will give you the same affirmation.
Give him a call.
