I think I figured out my oil consumption problem. I have been having to add 2 quarts about every 2 weeks on my car since the cam swap. Well I pulled one of my spark plugs out today and found oil on the thread of them. So doesn't that mean that oil is leaking past my valveseals and replacing the valve seals should fix my problem?

either that or rocker arm bolts not sealed good enough would be my guess

Oil on the threads usually mean a leak outside, like valve cover gasket.

i have been having the same problem lately. I even noticed some blue smoke coming out of my exhaust. When i changed my oil this is what i found: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generation-iii-internal-engine/502443-wtf-my-oil.html

It ended up being the little spring on the end of my valve seals. So i'm going to replace the valve seals this week and i'll see what that does. Sounds like you might have the same problem. I would change my oil and see if you find the same spring. Good luck!!

cool man...I'll probably start diggin into the valvetrain this weekend and replace the valve seals. Let me know if that fixes your problem.

I just changed my spark plugs today and noticed a slight amount of oil on the threads. Valve seals are 4 months old.
