427ci Shortblock is Finally Done! {56k... Grab a Snickers} Well I finally finished putting the shortblock together today. Here are a few random pics below. There are MANY more in the link below, but they aren't as big. The shortblock will sit for a month or so as I get some top end parts. I also need to get the old 346 out and strip it down for parts. That won't happen until mid/late August though.

Haven't heard that name in a while.
Looks great so far.... did you clean up the piston tops to remove any ridges/sharp edges? The tops look like mirrors!

Your not trying to steal my thunder on polishing those piston tops are you????? I seem to remember polishing them before the left.
Looks awesome man. Nice to see it together with some good pistons. If you guys would have seen the hack job pistons that were in it when I got it from one of our sponsors, you'd of puked, like I did.
