Question T-rex AND heads?

hi guys.
my freind is thinking about buying heads for his car he wants an easy
swap the car has full bolt ons + T-REX so we thought about
PRC LS6 Stage 2.5 CNC Ported Heads from tsp with 2.02'/1.575' valve .
will this require flycutting ?
if it needs flycutting then what about PRC LS6 stage 1 CNC Ported Heads?
and with these mods can we get 430rwhp ?
LT headers.
true dual x pipe.
asp pullies.
fast 90mm intake and fast TB 90mm.
k&n filter + air lid
TR T-REX.
set of heads listed above.
good tune. oh and BTW the car did 397rwhp 385rwtg without the fast intake
and stock 99 heads. thanks for the help and sorry if i wrote to long.

I think the stage 1 with the stock valves will clear.I'm pretty sure the 2.02's won't fit w/out flycutting heres a good thread https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ght=trex+heads

Stage 1 will clear with stock gasket, but (always a but), it is highly recommended that you check PTV.
Why?
Because piston position varies from motor to motor.

I do not understand why people want to spend all the time/money/effort to do a very nice head cam swap and leave a good deal of power on the table by choosing not to flycut and mill the heads. I would mill the CNC stage 2 heads, run a .040 gasket and flycut the pistons to get good compression. You should be able to see 430/400 or pretty close no problem with that route.

Actually, I would probably drop the extra dime and go with a set of Dart 205s or 225s, mill them down, run a .040 gasket and flycut the pistons. I imagine you could see 450+rwhp and 400-420ish torque with that route. Just my opinion-good luck

i have a t rex cam with GTP stage 2+ heads. through FLP headers and loud mouth exhaust i made 462 rwhp and 402 rwtq. due to hittin a road hazard i had to replace my headers and chose QTP headers and the exhaust is now dumped through dynomax bullet mufflers. i lost 6 hp and 9 tq which i guess is due to the exhaust being dumped and lack of back pressure. it pisses me off so i am going to run the texas speed true duals and see if that helps me any.

The PRC Street Stg 1 LS6 head will work just fine on that combo. Another option is I could build you a custom set of the PRC Terminator 200cc cylinder heads. Honestly I think the PRC LS6 Stg 1 heads would work perfect on that car & be unbeatable on price!
