Has any of you guys tried this new oil i got a pretty good deal on it for 2.60 a quart. If its any good I will stock up on it what do you guys think? New pennzoil is a full synthetic oil.

i've always heard bad things about pennzoil but that was with their full petroleum oil being as how it was a paraffin based oil i dont know anything about their full synthetic but just remember you get what you pay for and if it seems to good to be true it probably is

so in other words i wouldn't by it stick with mobil or castrol amsoil

pennzoil is better known as the yellow death by most mechanics i've worked with including myself. i won't use any pennzoil products or quaker state (same company) in my vehicles.

For what its worth I have heard of people having good luck with UOAs of the new Penzoil Platinum. However I am skeptical to see if their QC keeps up and the tests do not become irregular like I have seen with other companies. For now I'll stick to Mobil1, only time will tell.

yea i am a castrol syntec man but when i saw the price of this oil at autozone it was 5.50 a quart and at home depot it was 2.60 i guess i will stick to my syntec
