When should I replace my timing chain?
My WS6 has about 70,000 miles on it and I have to change the head gaskets so since I will have it all torn apart I was wondering if I should replace it as well.

I'm not a big fan of slapping a new chain in there and calling it done. I know a lot of people do it but it doesn't seem like the best way to go.
As an extreme example. If you ever owned a bike and placed a new drive chain on old, worn sprockets, you know what I mean. You'll go for a ride with your new chain, and after the first ride you'll have to take up more slack on the chain. That's because the worn sprockets have, almost instantly, stretched the new chain. I believe the timing chain and sprockets should be replaced as a set. JM2C.

I paid $24 for new intake gaskets this year..$60 is way too high..shop around..I got mine from Speed Inc...I have a set on the car right now that have been on two different intakes and they are fine..their life span is very long from what I have seen..they are 6 years old..
