can i run Patriot Dual valve springs on these heads..... need quick answer..
i have a stock block, with lq9 6.0l heads about to go in, can i run the patriot dual springs on the stock 6.0l heads with stock cam, stock rockers and stock valves without puting to much pressure on them? do i only have to change to hardened pushrods?
(also im probaly going to put a z06 cam in durign the head install, if that matters)

7-8psi and 6500rpm should be fine with 918s when using a Z06 cam. Just something to consider.
Assuming you are running a 2.00 IV the 7-8psi you are planning on running will require and additional 21-24lbs of spring pressure over what you would need N/A to insure proper valvetrain operation.
A timing chain replacement is good insurance IMO. An LS2 chain should be more sufficient.
Definitely get some good pushrods.
good luck with your project!
