I'm gonna be coming across some ls6 heads down the road and want to port them myself...worth the trouble?
is it difficult or any complications?

seems pretty straight forward.

thanks in advance

I was doing this last week, and had about 15hrs into a set before I busted through one of the runners. Have you seen how cheap TSP will CNC port heads? It's worth it!

Unfortunately, I don't work for TSP. Pose that question to them, and I'm sure they'll help you out. Find the recent thread on CNC LS6 heads. In it it has the price to CNC a LS6 head, and it wasn't that bad. It may be comparable to have another casting ported.

Yea, you can't beat what they charge to CNC heads now days. I buy CNC then go in and do a hand clean up on the areas the cutter can't reach and I clean up the cutter lines and mismatches.
