Default New Oil now loss of preassure after change?

So I usually run RP 30-30 but I been short o ncash this month so I got Pennzoil Synthetic Platinum Cause I found it on sale for like 235 a qt. I got the 10-30. Usually fully warmed up my preassuere is no lower then 38-42 lbs and like 60-65 @ 6800. So I changed it and fully warm it goes down to like 30-37ish and at wot at like 6000 it still hits 60psi though...Is this normal considering both are the same weight? I figured a clean synthetic all thought not the best is better then a dirty synthetic with over 3K on it. T he only other thing I did different is I usually run the K&N Gold oil filter this time I ran the AC Delco PF46.

I had the same problem when I was NA. I tried RP over Castrol, and noticed the pressure was lower. I ran it for a week like that and changed it back to Castrol 30.And the pressure went back to normal 48 Idle 60-70 WOT stock pump and KN filter both times. There seems to be nothing wrong with your car ie funny noise or smoking. I would assume that there just differnt stuff in the oil that the vescosity verys from differnt temps.
