Default H&C install No synthetics?

I'm finishing up a H&C install and was reading over Comp's instructions (yeah, after we're almost done) and they say not to use synthetics for the 1st 100mi. Well my car comes from the factory with synthetic so what should I do, drain it and fill it with conventional oil? I already put the cam in and coated it with Mobil 1, not regular oil. What do you guys think?

If you were running a flat tappet cam, then this would be correct as the tappet needs to wear in correctly. Since youre using a roller cam, no need for a breakin. You can run synthetic if you care to. I usually run the cheapest oil I can find for a hundred miles or so just to clean all the **** out of the motor, then replace with my synthetic of choice.

Thanks guys. My oil is clean but should be changed anyway, it's over a year old. I don't drive this thing much.
