Default Whats the best intake manifold/tb setup for a ls6?

I have a 02 Z06 and I was wondering what the best intake manifold/tb setup would be? Money is not an object here, I just want the best setup possible. I have a ms3 cam, long tubes, intake. Also should I have some porting done? Im a new so cut me some slack.

Opinions vary as to how much hp and UNPORTED one makes on a stock cube car, but the FAST 90/90 is generally held in high regard on cars with a decent size cam.

The FAST has ridges molded in right in the air flow path of the intake ports. Don't know why, but if you just smooth them flush with the other surface, you'd be doing 95% of what the pro porters do. It's not to hard to see what I mean when you get the manifold. As to the TB, if you go with the Nick Williams, which is regarded (maybe) as best, you don't need to port it. If you use the GM LS2 90, there may be some benefit. I'm leaving my LS2 TB stock for now, but my manifold is ported. Don't have them installed yet, so I can't tell you my impressions.

If you do a serarch, you'll find some postings of some guys that have picked up 25-28hp with a Ported FAST 90 set-up. I went with a LS2 TB, and the car ran pretty bad. Off idle or WOT it was find, but part throttle and mid range was AWFUL!! I was going to go back to the LS6 setup to get my driveability back, but Tony M said he could fix %75 of the problem by porting the TB. I sent it to him, and now it runs GREAT at any rpm. I still have to get a final tune to tweak it and dyno it, but it the ported LS2 works great now.

Get in touch with Tony Mamo at AFR. He does some awsome porting on the FAST 90.

There is also the new WILSON intake, pricey but well designed for 7000 rpm setups, with tuned runners etc....
