Default SI007 pass Cali smog?

Will a SI007 cam pass smog in cali? What other cams are out there that will other than a CheaTR,224, and smaller cams? I've done the search and I want something that is slightly different than what alot of other people in Cali are running.

CheaTR is a good cam. I ran only .1 & 1 MPH slower than with my F13.
And it idles 100% better.

To be on the safe side any cam with -6* or less overlap will pass.
Now some have passed with -4* but that is borderline and requires serious tuning.

One of my favorite all around Cali cams is the Stealth I from MTI

220/220, .581/.581 115+0 XE-R lobes.

That's what I plan to run with the turbo setup in the new 347 I'm puttin together, we will see... The fact that it's reverse split on an even higher LSA than the stealth I gives indication that it will also be a "clean" cam. We will see!

how much overlap does the SI007 cam have? If I were to special order one on a 116LSA would that produce enough negative overlap to pass emissions? Also how do u calculate for overlap? What effects would less overlap cause? I would like a sleeper cam that is slightly larger than a 224, I think the CheaTR would be a great cam, just more lift than what I am looking for.I also am running a pretty free flowing exhaust that's why I am leaning more towards a reverse split cam. Also I am split between a set of PRC or PP heads. The problem is I'm not sure if I want a set of the 243's or a set of 5.3 heads.I am aiming for around 10.75 or 11-1 comp.So which heads would net me better figures with a cam like I am thinking of? ANy help is appreciated.

224/224, .581/.581 115+0 (Comp cam XE-R lobes) with 62 cc TSP 243 casting stage 1 with 918's (tit retainers) and a Cometic .040 gasket for a 11.3 SCR and 8.5 DCR.
-6* overlap, 6600 rpm shiftpoints and a flat trq curve like you haven't seen before.

All of this being Stealth, emission passing 420+ rwhp on M6, 400+ on A4
Tuning a must and will run on 91 octane no problema.

At what RPM does this cam /head combo peak? Looks like a great combo.

Should peak in the 6300 rpm range with a LS6 intake

So how do u calculate for overlap? So how would a SI007 perform on a 116 LSA? Would it produce enough neagative overlap to pass?

(Duration intake+Duration exhaust)/2 - (2XLSA) = Overlap *

so the SI007 on a 115.5-116 LSA should be able to pass Cali smog because of -6 or -7* of overlap, correct? Now with the wider LSA what would that do to the performance profile of the cam? And it should have a less noticable lope to it on the wider LSA right?
