Default Cometic 4.160" Bore Head Gaskets on 4.125" Cylinder Bore?

Simple question, will this be okay? I see no problem with it. I heard the gasket should be at least .01" larger in bore than the cylinder bore, but I never heard of a max limit. My SCR will be okay with this big of a gasket bore. I don't want to wait for custom gaskets to be made, so I'm trying to find premade ones that will work. The Felpro 4.135" bore ones are too thin.

Mike, those will be just fine. The CR diffrence won't even be noticeable.

What about the increased room of carbon deposits, or is that a negligable issue?

That will be fine, you can go bigger gasket bore then that and it still works

You're splitting hairs here. A 4.16 on a 4.125" bore is fine.
