Default I can't decide

I have narrowed it down to 2 longblocks the iron 408 or alum. 382 other than the weight diff ht are the other pros and cons.how much handlin will I lose with the iron when I hit the twisties.please help

Its a significant weight hit if youre serious about handling in the twistys. You can offset most of it by relocating the battery though. As for drag racing, the 408 will more than make up for the weight with the extra power ability.

Well I'm not hella serious about hittin corners.I don't really think I'll autox or anything ,but the local guys hit the canyons at least once a month and I would like to be able to keep up.mostly dragging and stoplight fun

Why not do and ls2 block based aluminum 402, and have the best of both worlds.

Why would you have to? Just run longer wires and stick them in the side of the block. You can even buy a plug and play herness from katech if I recall...

yeah, now katech has a kit to make the knock sensors work.
