Depending on your other mods... It will likely last a while depending on how you drive. Go for it but be ready when it dies.

My stock clutch has 72k miles on it, and I dropped my F13 in @ around 50k miles. I go to the track every now and then (about 15 total passes on it), but around town I drive like a grandmother for the most part (trying to get the most mpg). If you are careful, it will last. It all depends on YOUR driving habits.

i think it would be fine, as long as your clutch isnt already in bad shape. just dont slip the clutch alot, heat is the stock clutch/flywheels worst enemy. i think if you baby the clutch it should last pretty long. and when it does go, plan to get a new slave cylender+throwout bearing , maybe enen master and flywheel too... the slave was actually the culprit in my worn out clutch.. but its not the easiest thing to work on so i replaced everything while i was doing it.

My car is 75000 miles and I have made about 15 passes on the track, many times hot lapping and the clutch still works good. I try not to beat on it on the street (unless some one gets froggy). I am planning on replacing it in about a month though. I dont think it will last very long on a cam if you got some mileage though its true it depends a lot on your driving habits.

My stock 40K mile clutch survived the cam and headers, but not the heads and FAST 90 intake. Installed a SPEC Stage 3 + good for 850rwt. I would not recommend the regular Stage 3, because it chatters.

black1999-z28,how do you like the cam? my car has 31k on it, . . i don't beat it hard at all, . . sometimes, . . like twice a week, . . after i get my cam in, i will upgrade to a ls7/ls2 kit, . . think that'll be good enough? it should be good for DD but when i get it, . . im gonna beat it hard, . . . . no spec for me, . . for every 2 people that says "ordering another Spec-3!!!!" there's one guy that goes: "my spec-3 broke ", . . .

Im still on the stock clutch, with the mods in sig. Put on about 2K since the Cam/Longtubes, and about 6 or 7K since my nitrous. Still seems to be holding alright, I dont beat on it too hard on the street and it has only been dyno run once - has yet to go to the track. Im sure a new one will be needed sometime in the near future. Oh, 38000 miles on the car now, approx.

If the car is a 2002 (2001+ actually) youve got a z06 clutch from the factory. My stock clutch held out to just about 100K miles, and the car had heads and cam. Although I was on street tires and have 4.10s.

I'm running the z06 clutch, it's been fine so far for me. Never had a problem with it slipping with 390rwhp.
