im going to suggest the tr224. it will get you close. great mid range and pulls hard to red line. ditch the 3.73s and go for the 4.10 you wont notice much different going to the 3.73s get some underdrive pullies and i good tune and you'll be straight.

I'll need the same cam as Doski...

So anyone else with experience from the TR224?

F11 is a good cam. Drives pretty good with the 3.42s and has a lot of torque (over 350 rwtq from 2500 to 6000 rpm - if I remember correctly). Sounds awesome too.

See sig. Don't let the track numbers scare you ... they're a result of driver error.

TR224. All around great cam, drives very much like stock, especially with a bigger gear and will pull hard through a powerband that's useable on the street.

You can hear a lope but it's certainly not a choppy "look at me" cam. Your tuner should be able to get it to idle very tame.

The TSP Torquer V2 is a good one as well.... www.texas-speed.com Just have to really look at all the sponsors that sell Cams and then make your pic...Also call and talk to people....This will help you out too.

I'm gonna agree with this cam. I'm thinking about this one too but can't decide if I want a 112 LSA or a 114 LSA.

Im getting ready to put a F11 ib nt can in the next week or so but if your going for a daily driver i would go witha TR224 its proven power and a great daily drive you want to get in on the 112lsa for a M6in stead of a 114 which is better A4

The F11 is a great choice!! I know a more than a few people running that cam around here. I went bigger with the F14 and it is streetable to me!

So whats next after tr224? Will you lose a lot of torque under 2500 with torquer v2 or f13 ?

The torquer is exactly the opposite of the name. I'd suggest an F13. A very docile cam that is a proven performer much like the TR224.

There are a lot of good DD cams. Check out the F13 or the 228R. I personally went with the 228R. A lot of picking a dd cam depends on what you consider "streetable" and where you want your powerband. Do a search, lots of great info on different DD type cams.

i have the 228r and it was a sweet cam, pulled good and kept decent bottom end.another cam is something like a 224/228 on xer lobes on a 110,these tight lsas are getting pretty popular.

^ Yah the tight LSA's are nice if you don't have to pass the sniffer!
All the cams above 224 degrees of duration are nice if you don't have to pass the sniffer.

I hate California for its smog laws!

I would suggest going with a slightly bigger cam then the tr224, it is a good dd cam but most people that get it end up wanting a bigger cam. Just my .02
