Default Cranking compression ??

Okay so I was at a shop checking the cranking compression. The compression is 215 in 5 cylinders and 265+ on 3 cylinders. can adjustable rockers cause higher cylinder compression. I've read it can cause lower cylinder pressure being too tight. so can it be too high being too loose? any ideas?

No. If it is too tight you can cause more preload and in effect open the valves a little quicker to lose some compression. If it is loose it will give max compression, and it will be loud. Loose valvetrain can cause the valve tips to get distorter and or damage valvetrain parts. Your compression seem a bit high at 265 psi, but it is hard to say how far out of reason that is if you have a high compression motor. What is the dcr and static compression ratio?

What's your SCR/DCR? I'm running 11.6:1 SCR and 8.0:1 DCR and I have about 225psi in all cylinders.

I need to figure it out. It's suppose to be a high compression motor. like 13.1.1. I didn't receive enough info from the engine builder.
