Torquer V2..
Ive been looking at this or a 228/228 cam from TSP.
Ive heard good things about the Torquer 2 and was wondering if you guys thought it would work well for my applcation. I drive my car everyday, IT IS an A4. I dont mind a little shaking at idle but in the car Id preffer it to feel smoother, I relize with a cam it wont be silky but I want something thats tolerable.
Can you hear the Torquer lope pretty decently? I want to hear that, not trying to hide it like a CheatR camshaft I just dont want it to be shaking hardcore while im in the car.
Will this cam work well with stage 2 ported heads? The specs are ..
New GM LS2/LS6 243 casting
5 axis CNC machined
Fully assembled
New 2.000 intake valves / 1.550 exhaust valves
Comp 918 single coil valve springs good to ~ .625 lift
Flow over 300 cfm on std 3.900 bore
Thanks

The Torquer2 on a 112 LSA is probably what you are looking for. Its not too big so the driveability shouldn't suffer a big loss, but it will have a nice lope to it. You should probably check PTV just in case since you have different sized valves, not sure off the top of my head if it'll clear. Good luck on the new setup.
