Default Stock heads adequate?

Do stock 2001 LS1 heads flow well enough to not restrict a 212/218 .522/.529 cam? Would stock exhaust manifolds be a restriction?

In other words, would I gain anything by installing either CNC 243 heads or headers with this cam?

yes you would, 243 and headers will let the car breath a lot better.

How much RWHP each would you estimate from the CNC 243's and headers?

You could run the CheaTR cam with those heads and the stock manifolds no problem and really belt out some power! LS6 are gonna flow a bit better as well, so any bit more you do will only help the situation.
