It all depends on how many miles are on the springs and how the car was driven. If the car spent a lot of time at high rpms, it's smart insurance to replace them.

well it was a DD until about a month ago, and i heard a cause of spring failure on occasion was just drving it everyday not spending time in the RPMs,

If you have low miles on the springs, and the old spring were rathed high enough for the new cam, then you have no problem. If you wanted to replace the coils you can do so without replacing the rest of the components in the spring kit.

Were these the REV springs that cam with a S-Cam kit? The two local guys that had this setup both broke a spring and went to Patriot Golds.
