Default 130k miles and turbo and heads.... Cam swap?

Hey I'm changing to the ls6 heads and intake as we speak, and with the heads off I'm so close to a cam swap so I'm toying with it. Problem is, I have 130k miles, and I plan to run the STS turbo I have @ 5psi with methanol injection too. I could just buy a forged short block and do the cam then so I can have a more boost ready motor, would that be a better idea and just stick with the heads, intake, and turbo for now?
thanks

I say if you are already doing H/I/T you should go ahead and spend the extra money for a cam. You would pretty much have a fresh motor if you got the forged block and pistons. It really depends on your budget, but if you can afford it and really want to do it: go for it. You won't regret it.

whoops what I meant to ask is is doing a cam swap right now possibly pushing it? I'm not gonna build a forged bottom end til next year. I'm just worried I'm pushing the limits of a 130 k motor by doing the cam now. should I wait til I do the forged bottom end for the cam, as I'm already going to be running ls6 heads and intake and a lightly boosted sts turbo.

Run a compression test, if the motor checks out replace the basic stuff and go for it. Lifters, LS2 timing set, ls6 oil pump, pushrods, springs, cam.
