Default 205 vs 225 on a 384

Can anyone tell me which one will be more beneficial to a 384 all stroke ?
I'm looking for killer mid-range and of course a little low end as well as top end.

The 225s are going to be 5-10 rwhp better than the 205s with that size motor and you will not lose any low or mid-range torque...

But...the throttle tip-in response from the 205s is much crisper than the 225s. The 205s feel torquier at part throttle (even though at WOT they're not). If your car is more driver than race car, the 205s feel much better. If that extra 5-10 rwhp means more to you, then get the 225s and never look back. For what it's worth, I'm running 225s on a 346. I gained less than 5 by swapping from the 205s, but with more motor, the gains are a little bigger. Don't forget the throttle response thing though.

So with the 235/240 cam you suggested, what do you think will be the better match ? I've been leaning towards the 225's but it's hard to decide. I love winding my car up to 6.8-7k rpms(race car) but It's also a daily driver(driver) So it's not too easy to decide.

If it's just the "feel" you'd loose some of, I'd go for the 225's. No loss in power, but more up top. I believe the added TQ of the cubes will make up for the loss of "TQ feeling".

Will do gents! Thanks so much for both of your input. There aren't too many people on here I'd listen to, and I'm glad I got some good feedback.
