Default What length pushrods are you running??

I know a lot of people are runnng a very similiar h/c set-up. I am running stock length pushrods now but have a lot of valvetrain noise. Current set-up is: AFR 205's out of the box Milled .0020, GMPP head gaskets, and comp cam XER lobes 228/232 588/592 110+1.

Please help me. It is borderline embarrassing!!

Thanks

You need to setup your valvetrain geometry. Get a adjustable length pushrod, checker springs, and do some measuring. Stock lifters? go for about .080 preload and then get the right pushrods.

Measure to zero lash with the checker springs, turn it over check again, then add .080 to what your adj. pushrod length ends up being. Order correct pushrods.

Do it right, it'll cost you all of about $30.
