Default Torquer 3 is in the car!

Well everyone, I just got my car back from the Tq3 install last night. This is my first cam so I wasn't totally sure what to expect when driving it, but Jason at Texas Speed dialed it in pretty close to perfect I'd say w/ the mail tune. Aside from a little bucking/surging at low speed/part throttle, it honestly drives close to stock. Im still on stock gears, but the 4:10s are going in at 9am today! I only had a couple chances to rip on it last night, but man does it fly! I was still shifting at stock redline just because, but it was still pulling like mad. The idle is pretty nice and choppy too! I love seeing the car shake a little. Next mods will have to be clutch/suspension/tires.

Im gonna try my best to get a vid soon and find a way to post it, because I dont think I have the right connections on my computer for it. But I'll find a way! I'll make sure to get idle, revving, and driving through the catback and cutout.

Oh, also the underdrive pulley, TSP ported LS6 oil pump, LS2 chain went in with it. Changed plugs to TR55's too.

Anyone else got this in yet?

I've been runnng the torquer 1 cam (233\233 .595\.595 112 LSA) with the PRC dual springs and kit for a little over 30,000 miles..a good cam especially if you go to the track alot..it makes its power between 4000 and 7000 rpms...the car will like the 4.10 gears .. I ran 4.10s with mine for almost a year and then went to 3.73s..I do way to much highway driving for the 4.10s and I never track the car.. car has a killer idle ... sounds great at the stop lights ... and it gets lots of compliments ..

The 4:10s are in now and it really woke up! I should probably get a shift light since Im not used to how fast the rpm's shoot up. Anyone considering this cam, I would highly recommend it. The lope seems even choppier today than it did last night.

Haha I knew that was coming. But I really dont know. There are no dyno's close to my school, which Im leaving for in the morning. So I had planned on waiting till I get heads next spring. A couple others are putting this cam in soon so maybe they will be dynoing? Sorry, I know we all want to see the numbers!

I made over 400 RWHP with stock heads, bolt ons, through the muffler, and without a pulley with the torquer 1 cam..the cam makes good power but you have to rev the crap out of it to make the muscle (4000 rpm -7000 rpm).. I liked the cam but I prefer make more power under the curve since I am on the street all the time...
