Default Oil pan leaking

I just got finished replacing my oil pump and timing chain (P/O didn't replace them with cam swap). I think the car had a very slow leak before...it never left spots, but the oil pan always had a layer of oil on it, never enough to notice on the dipstick.

So I dropped the pan to do the oil pump, left the back two bolts in place to keep it aligned, and now that its back together, I am getting some 4" diameter spots underneath the car. Hard to tell exactly where it is coming from, basincally the oil is dripping from the joint between the pan and the bellhousing. I'm assuming that the pan didn't get lined up properly with the rear cover? Any way to know if you are aligned properly or not (with it in the car)?

Its hard to say. I you you over filled the the oil pan, it sometimes leaks past the rear main seal.
