After a recent rebuild of the shortblock about 25-30 minutest of running the engine I started getting a ticking that turned in to a knock. It turned out to be the 1st rocker arm on the passenger side had come loose. I pulled all of the rockers and used red thread locker and re-torqued them. I am starting to get a tick again but it has leveled off and hasn't gotten any worse. Could the rocker coming loose before collapsed a lifter or bent a PR? Any Ideas



BTW I have COMP Hi Tec PR's and new Gm lifters and very low mile PP Gold Springs. The cam is a .617/.622 246/248 109 +6 LSA
