Default cam choice for 408

Herese the run down, 12.5 to 1 with a set of ETP 245 heads , 90/90 setup posibly sheetmetal intake. Im still up in the air to go solid roller or stay hyd roller. car isent driven much so the sky is the limit on cam choice

T-rex or the MS4 would pair nicely with that setup. Just do a search and you will find several posts on it. There was one recently that had a poll so check that one out.

Running a Comp 250/254 on a LSA of 110 ICL of 106 on my set up, not yet tuned still using a stock auto tune and idles at 900rpm when hot, drives very well. I originaly ran a 244/248 on a LSA 112. I would seriously look at diff gearing using a cam over 250 dur as I went with 4.11:1 on a four door Holden Commodore here in Australia.

i would give allen at futral a call or erik koening at HPE.. their pretty busy all the time but they'll give you good advice.

Look at your goals...is it N/A, or is it a no2 motor......I'm running a small cam 244/250 630/630 on a 114+2...Very streatable, built for n2o..and runs like scolded ape **** on motor.....You can have your cake and eat it too...lots of cam options....best of luck

i'll add my question to this post as well....i plan on doing a 408 also with the AFR 225's. what are the pros/cons to doing a solid roller vs. hyd. roller? im planning on spraying eventually and basically want to have a street brawler. i just had 4.30s put in the 12 bolt so thats the gear i'll be running. thanks
