There is another thread running on titanium vs. steel retainers, and one of the new vendors (PAC Racing Springs) made a statement relative to the longevity of the titanium retainers on a street driven car. (See link below). I am not questioning his knowledge in this area, but rather am trying to find out with normal street driving is anyone even inspecting their retainers when they do a spring swap or just popping them out and then back in again. How many miles do you have on your retainers and have they shown any wear (assuming you have looked). I tend to think most people are not looking at this when they change out the valve springs.
