Question Need Comp 224 cam #s

Can anyone with the Comp 224/224 .581 lift 114 LSA provide me with the advertised intake/exhaust durations @ .006 and ICL so that I can figure out my DCR?

TIA

I can not get the calculator in the advanced performance tech sticky to work for me. Can some one tell me what the DCR will be with stock 99 heads, head gaskets, and the 224/224 .581/.581 114(+4?) cam will be versus the stock 99 camaro cam? Thanks

Is 8.5 the highest DCR you want for running on 93 octane? Or can you go higher?

I'm pretty sure 8.5 will be safe on 93 octane. You might be able to push 8.6, I don't know. Every car behaves differently. I've been trying to get a feel for what the limits are for 91 octane since I'm in CA.

From experience, I was running ~ 8.5 on 91 and maxed out at 26* of timing. Wouldn't take any more.

2 things you want to improve while raising DCR.
1- quench, this is done by running a thinner gasket .030>.040 quench will reduce detonation potential.
2- Plugs, as SCR/DCR goes up using 1 range colder plug is recommended with a shorter gap (.040/.045)
