Default GM high volume oil pump or Melling ?

Just wondering which I should go with if given the choice? Can I use an after market timing chain with either?

If you run the dual roller you may have to do some clearancing on the timing cover. I know I did on mine. I am pretty sure you have to on the LS6 pumps also but never ran it with the LS6 pump. GL

I used a TSP ported one with a Rollermaster Double roller. It works great I get about 60psi @ iddle when the engine is warmed up.

Make enough pressure. Then it eventually dropped to zero. Had another car here nearby that had one. It was a turbo car, and it was ugly.

Really n20? Thats a bit odd, going to -0- ?? I would not think it would go to 0 unless you had something like 3" bearing clearances....hmmmm???

Anyone know what the Lingenfelter pumps are? Are they ported LS6 pumps?

OK here are my numbers with the TSP Ported Oil Pump. I was mistaken. Pressure is 60# cold @ iddle when the engine is fully Hot it drops between 45-50# @ idle. Cruising around at 2k rpm it goes back to 60# at wot it is about 75# at ~5,500-6k rpms.
