Default Lpe Gt-7

Anyone use this cam. Seems like it might be a sleeper kinda cam.

We have installed it a couple of times. If you like the LPE stuff, I like the GT2-3 better.

Eh, the GT2-3 didn't move me in anyway. Is the GT7 comparable to Thunders Cheater cam?

That GT1-1 looks f'ing BEAUTIFUL!
229/242 duration @ .050 .631/.631
Only problem I see is that it's on a 114 LSA.

What kinda of power can one expect from the GT1-1 cam vs. something like thier GT2-3?

Also would the GT1-1 would also be a good blower cam?

Other than the GT1-1, I can't see that any of the cams are very big. I'm not sure on a blower cam. I know they usually have a wide LSA, but I don't know lift and duration for blower cams.

From all the talk on the truck page, the Gt2-3 cam is good because of the lower duration but big lift. that cam runs awsome in my truck with other bolt ons and tuning.

I did 368/360 with the GT2-3 in my GTO. Mods at that time were long tubes/cats into the stock cat back, CAI, pulley, thermostat, and tune. Should easily be more with the normal bolt ons and less drivetrain loss of an F-Body. Idles smoother than stock so you'll never even know its there

the lpe stuff is great for FI. the gt2-3 is a good cam to get now and then put the blower on later down the road. I would probably use the gt2-3 if you are going FI or look at EPP's blower cam that they have out. Usually higher lsa is easier to tune with a FI setup.

Good info, but - I want a cam with great NA power, but also be blower friendly. GT2-3 is good, but not enough for me NA.

Thats why I was asking about the GT1-1.

Bigger than the stock lift, and doesn't beat up the valvetrain either. It has its place in this world...

OH yeah it has its place. But the guy said it has big lift. It doesn't.
